My formal education includes a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Western Kentucky University. Also, studied Architecture and Design at King’s College in London. I have spent the past 17 years in commercial & residential design engagements. Examples of a few work projects:
- Furniture space planning the furniture for many businesses including Opryland Hotel for the Herman Miller Dealership, Nashville, TN
- Managing the Chicago Geiger Showroom for Herman Miller, Inc., Chicago, IL
- Designing an office in Oakbrook & “My Sister Kate’s” children’s store in Hinsdale
- Numerous local residential projects ( Shown in Pillar’s House Tours 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 & 2012)
- Consultant to the Village of LaGrange Store Fronts & Properties staging
- Over 30 designs showcased in Frank Fontana’s HGTV's “Dirty Little Secrets of Design” book
My consultation can be as simple as creating a color plan for a specific room or as detailed as managing a complete renovation. That process features collaborative discussions and on-site visits that help to understand the customer’s wants.
